| I write emotional poetry and occasionally delve into visual media. A lot of my art, or perhaps all if I'm the root of it, is based around the transsexual viewpoint. Not gays, lesbians, "transgenders," but real people who know who they are and are constantly beaten to the ground, every day. Even in disparity, my works symbolise the triumph of... not "us" as a group, like some collective, but the triumph of each maimed, beaten, scarred individual who wakes up and lives another day. If one of you happen to be reading this, I respect you more than any other god-damned person on this planet.  |

Let me start this with an introduction of sorts. The entire Twilight series interests me. I act - as with so many other things - as a third party, something outside of the exchange: I don't get involved. This happens when the varying arguments are of no importance, when none of them make any sense, or when one side reacts in some interesting way. In this case, it's the first case: the whole issue doesn't matter whatsoever. Twilight is a bit of a fashion, and will go away eventually. There are much, much better books (and series) that exist that deserve more attention. T

Radio Friendly Unit Shifter
| The song title was made to be purposefully ironic - which happens to be why I chose it to be the title of this collection. The art here (or at least most of it) is anything but radio-friendly, easily digestible, or insultingly stupid. It's quite deserving of some further attention. My suggestions? Transsexual Heart
| This drawing kicks ass. I was just going back through my gallery a bit and happened upon it. The vision is totally there - it's original in combining general symbols of love and such with the wonderfulness of being fucked up in a mutilated, perfectly normal body. Aside from being a bit off-centre, and the poor scan quality (I'm not sure where the original is), this was the extent of my potential at the time, and it is wonderful. |
